- identified Aug 25, 2026, 04:43 AM UTC
Starting at 03:05 UTC on August 25, 2026, customers using Azure Databricks may be experiencing failures or degraded availability across multiple services, including Unity Catalog, authentication and login, access control, SQL and Spark Connect gateways, Delta Sharing, pipelines, and interactive notebook commands. Affected customers may encounter login failures, request timeouts, or errors when accessing governed data and running workloads. Symptoms: • Login and token validation failures preventing workspace access • Timeouts, deadline-exceeded, and permission errors when accessing Unity Catalog objects or access control settings • Failures or degraded performance for SQL and Spark Connect connections, Delta Sharing, pipelines, and interactive notebook commands Recommendations: No customer action is required at this time. Current Status: The issue is under active investigation in coordination with the cloud provider. Next Update: We will provide another update within 1 hour, or sooner if there is a material change in service status
