Update timeline

  1. investigating Jan 14, 2026, 07:22 AM UTC

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with the CoinGecko Pro API. Some requests may result in slower response times or occasional timeout errors. Our team is actively investigating and working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

  2. monitoring Jan 14, 2026, 08:13 AM UTC

A fix has been implemented and we are seeing recovery across all CoinGecko Pro API endpoints. We are currently monitoring the results to ensure stability remains consistent. We will provide a final update once we are confident the issue is fully resolved.

  3. resolved Jan 14, 2026, 09:50 AM UTC

We are pleased to confirm that the intermittent issues affecting the CoinGecko Pro API have been fully resolved since 08:13 UTC. Our investigation identified the root cause as table bloat specifically within our On-chain data tables. While the issue originated in the On-chain infrastructure, it temporarily impacted broader API performance. To resolve this, we have released a fix to address the concurrency conflicts and high update volumes observed during the incident. Additionally, we have implemented improvements to our traffic routing to better isolate On-chain workloads. This measure ensures that heavy load on these specific resources will not impact the stability of other API endpoints moving forward. Monitoring confirms that API response times have returned to normal levels. Thank you for your patience.
