    Between 2:30 PM ET and 3:50 PM ET we observed that some Canvas customers had issues starting a conference (users saw "There was an error joining this conference" when trying to create it). The error cleared at 3:50 PM ET and we are investigating further with Instructure. Users could join existing conferences without issue.
