Update timeline

  1. investigating May 18, 2023, 03:23 PM UTC

We are currently investigating an issue where apicbase is alerting some customers about failed orders. With what we know so far the orders/emails are actually arriving at the suppliers and there is an issue that is causing our systems to believe the emails did not arrive. Our advice at this moment is to ignore our alert emails about failed orders. To be sure we advise to contact the supplier to double check.

  2. identified May 18, 2023, 03:47 PM UTC

We have identified the issue and can confirm there was actually no email delivery issue. Because of an unrelated issue apicbase incorrectly believed the order emails not to have been delivered. We are now working on fixing this issue and marking the order statuses as successful.

  3. monitoring May 18, 2023, 04:05 PM UTC

Our teams have deployed a fix for the issue. New orders are no longer incorrectly marked as failed and also already sent orders have been updated to reflect the actual status. We will keep on monitoring.

  4. resolved May 18, 2023, 04:15 PM UTC

We are marking this issue as resolved. Our teams will keep on monitoring the situation.
