We experienced an outage that lasted approximately one minute for the centralized subsystems. This would also have affected new authentication requests for Gateway traffic. The cause was a failure in the underlying AWS RDS database. RDS failed over to the backup as expected. All systems recovered automatically. We are working with AWS to determine the cause of this issue.
