This morning, we initiated a configuration update for our Microsoft Entra ID credentials that required a progressive restart of all application servers. Unfortunately, due to an error in the format of the credentials, the servers failed to restart correctly. The remaining servers then received all of the traffic and crashed under load. When they were automatically restarted, they loaded the faulty configuration and failed to start. The configuration has been corrected and we are back up to a full set of serving instances.
